Mobile MDM Enrollment Registration
Description
This rollout of the MDM will only affect those who have been assigned an ICBA device or uses their personal phones to access ICBA corporate data and resources.
Benefits of an MDM:
- Access the company’s data and resources in a secure fashion
- Automation of onboarding and offboarding of devices with ICBA emails and apps
- Remove ICBA-related files and apps (without removing your personal files or apps)
- Reset phones to factory settings if lost or stolen
- Make phones and tablets compatible with security standards
We care about your privacy and the followings will NOT be visible to ICBA:
- Call history
- Text messages
- Location
- Personal email, contacts, and calendar
- Camera roll
- Web history
- Personal apps
ICBA IT will see the following information:
- Owner information
- Model number
- Device name
- Operating system
- Serial number
- Company apps
- Manufacture
Deployment Process
Staff in DC and MN offices will need to show up for the appointment scheduled. IT then will take the device from you to setup the MDM profile while you wait. This process should take no more than 15 minutes depending on number of devices assigned to you.
Remote users will be assisted remotely while we provide a screen-sharing session using Zoom to walk you through the process. Details to come later.
We partnered with Anchor Technologies to assist during the rollout of the MDM and an engineer will be on site in Washington, D.C.
Schedule and Conference Room Details
We plan to roll out the week of December 10th and we will schedule you based on your availability using the following sessions:

Prerequisite
We will need the following information the date of the deployment:
- Bring your app password. If you’re using the iOS native mail app and/or Skype for Business on your device, we will need the app password. If you cannot locate this, we will have a laptop on standby for you to re-generate a new app password.
- Bring your app store username/password. The app store username and password will be required one time to download an application named Company Portal. Please make sure to have your credentials to the perspective store on hand:
- iOS – iCloud Account
- Android – Gmail account used for Google Play
Come with an empty stomach as we will be providing bagels and donuts while you wait for your phone to be enrolled.
