Budget Catalyst Training / Overview

This session will focus on Budget Catalyst. Our budget system, Budget Catalyst is designed to be the source for all of your financial information throughout the year in addition to a budgeting tool. You will use Budget Catalyst to review your monthly budget reports, to compare your actual results to the budget during the year along with preparing your budget and year-end projection each year. This system is designed to be the one place for all of your financial data, and it is real time. When the data is entered into the accounting software by accounting, you can see the impact to your areas immediately. Keep in mind that during the current month and the following month you will see data as it occurs, the data for the month will not be completely final until one month after the actual month. This is because accounting is still entering journal entries that impact the data until the month is closed. The monthly closing takes about a month. You will have access to the system for the entire year to review your actual results compared to budget.
